Sunbird is worked in one piece, top down, without seams.

The idea with this design was to create something really simple to knit, with the least finishing steps possible. Once you bind off the last stitch of the second sleeve, your project is done. No button bands or neckband to pick up, as they are created along the garment, with some nice i-cord edging. You will only need to sew the buttons on! Kitty knitted the 3 month size.
