Mary choice of yarn for this project - My Little Sunshine - is 60% organic cotton and 40% acrylic. This yarn is perfect for a baby set and with the many colors we have in stock, you are sure to find your perfect stripes! This pattern contains directions for all three pieces in several sizes. The small sizes for these projects makes for perfect summer knitting!

Beginner Brioche Class, $20
 
Thursday, June 10 (1pm - 2:30pm) 
The Brioche Stitch is a thick, lofty, ribbed knitting stitch pattern. Its loose knit gives brioche fabric an enormous amount of stretch, and its unique construction makes for a super soft project. If you are interested in learning this knitting technique then this class is for you! Click here to view some brioche projects on ravelry.com. Class size limited to 4 people, so please pre-register by calling the shop. Bring your preferred yarn and needles.

What's On Our Needles?

Pattern: Spring into Summer Jacket by Oge Knitwear Designs 
Yarn: Cashmerino by Lang 

This sideways knit jacket is the perfect compliment to the Spring into Summer Romper that Kitty completed this month. This set would be a great gift for any baby in your life! Requires 3 skeins of Cashmerino. 

Pattern: Alleine by Berroco 
Yarn: Summer Silk by Berroco 

Grab your size 7 crochet hook and one ball of Summer Silk and you'll be done with this floral cowl in no time! The beautiful, soft pink colorway Linda is using is called Orchard.  

Pattern: Powder Wrap by Casapinka 
Yarn: Wool Pop by Universal 

The Powder Wrap is an asymmetric triangle that is a large, mesmerizing piece to knit. Three fun texture-rich sections repeat throughout and the wrap is finished off with a beautiful cable section. You won't be bored with this knit!  

Pattern: Baby Romper in Panama by Katia 
Yarn: Concept by Katia 

Mary is knitting a fun short-sleeved romper this month (pale blue one in the picture). Concept (90% Cotton and 10% Cashmere) is the perfect yarn for this pattern and will make for a comfortable and soft fabric for little ones. The pattern comes in sizes 3 to 18 months.

Pattern: Magra by Donna Yacino 
Yarn: Estiva by Berroco 
 
The Magra bag is composed of a solid body topped with a series of crochet medallions and handles. It starts and ends with the darker color with the lighter color in the middle. The Magra bag uses 2 cakes of Berroco Estiva.


Pattern: Marin by Ysolda Teague 
Yarn: Stargazer by Juniper Moon Farms 

From Ravelry: Reversible, symmetrical, with long points and a shape that curves gently around your neck Marin is easy to throw over any outfit. No need to worry about spotting your gift recipient wearing it inside out either. Knit from side to side it makes the most of the simplest stitch patterns and shaping techniques. The entire shawl is worked in garter stitch and ribbing with a few effectively placed cables and neat slipped stitch selvedges. Kitty used 2+ skeins of Juniper Moon Farm's Stargazer (Color 31 - Spinel).

Yarn: Cashmerino by Lang 

This sweet little romper is perfect for a spring baby and the pattern is sized for newborn to 12 months. Knit in a simple garter stitch and with minimal seaming, this pattern is suitable for the advanced beginner knitter. Requires 3 skeins of Cashmerino.
