New Arrivals

We have received two types of looms!
The Cricket loom is a traditional 15 inch wide rigid heddle loom. The Zoom loom creates 4”x4” woven squares that can be combined into bags, scarves, blankets, and clothing. Each square only takes 20-30 minutes to create and uses about ten yards, so it’s an excellent stash buster. You can also cross-stitch into your woven square to include words or images in your final piece.

We have also received new yarns including Tiramisu by Berroco, Celestine by Juniper Moon Farm, and Luma and Tundra by The Fibre Co.

What's On Our Needles?

Pattern: Bide Shawl by Helen Stewart
Yarn: Tundra by The Fibre Co.

Knit on size 10.5 needles with a wonderfully soft bulky yarn, this triangle shawl will be a quick and fun project. Tundra is 60% Alpaca, 30% Merino Wool and 10% Silk - enough said.

Linda is working on stash busting with some Noro yarn and her Cricket loom. This beautiful project is destined to be a scarf!

Pattern: Campbell Blanket by Appalachian Baby Design
Yarn: US Organic Cotton by Appalachian Baby Design

The Campbell Blanket is as beautiful as it is snuggly. Appalachian Baby Design patterns paired with their earth-friendly organic cotton yarns make for a wonderful knitted gift that any baby will love.

Pattern: Hooded Dinosaur Blanket by Krystle's Krazy Knits

Your favorite dinosaur lover will be cozy and snug and will never want to crawl out of this fun hooded blanket! It is a fairly easy pattern that knits up quickly on big needles. This would make a terrific Christmas gift for a little one in your life.

A Few of Our Completed Projects

This beautiful eyelet scarf is completed with just one skein of Noro Tsubame. Kitty loved knitting this scarf. The pattern is easy to follow, the yarn is soft and the color changes keep it interesting.

The dainty lace yoke is precious on this fun-to-knit baby cardigan. The pattern is sized to fit from newborns up to 36 months. This sample is knit using Lang Cashmerino

This large wrap is a fun knit and a great way to use up some of your stash yarn! The pattern calls for 5 skeins - variegated, solid, gradient, whatever - but you could use several partial skeins for a great result. You will really enjoy the mix of garter stitch and lace while knitting and while wearing your final wrap! This sample was knit using Smooshy with Cashmere by Dream in Color.
