What's On Our Needles?


Pattern: Marin by Ysolda Teague 
Yarn: Stargazer by Juniper Moon Farms 

From Ravelry: Reversible, symmetrical, with long points and a shape that curves gently around your neck Marin is easy to throw over any outfit. No need to worry about spotting your gift recipient wearing it inside out either. Knit from side to side it makes the most of the simplest stitch patterns and shaping techniques. The entire shawl is worked in garter stitch and ribbing with a few effectively placed cables and neat slipped stitch selvedges.

Our Completed Projects


Pattern: Seashells Blanket by Svetlana Volkova 
Yarn: Cumulus by Juniper Moon Farms 

From Ravelry: The Seashells blanket is worked in a reversible lace pattern that is easily memorized making it a great project for relaxing knitting. Pattern includes both charted and written instructions. 

This blanket is knit with 3 skeins of super soft Cumulus yarn which is 94% cotton and 6% nylon. 


Pattern: Madelyn Shawl by Zabeth Loisel-Weiner 
Yarn: Rustic Silk by Ella Rae 

The Madelyn Shawl was the January KAL project. Knit with Rustic Silk, a 100% silk fingering weight yarn by Ellen Rae, the shawl requires two hanks of yarn; one hank each of two different colors.

Botanique

The Botanique Shawl pattern is being re-released by Casapinka on February 20th, 2021 in Emma’s Yarn and is available as a kit! You may choose to purchase one of the suggested yarn combinations or you can create your own. Click here to view individual colorways in our online store. 

From Ravelry: Botanique is a labor of love (to design and to knit)! There are 15 sections plus borders on either end. Each section is inspired by something related to spring, from blooming trees, to spring rain. There are also dot stitches, lace, flowers, butterflies, thistle, lettuce and catnip, and tea.
